Anti-Spam Policy

Last updated July 20, 2026

Cold outreach is legal. Spam is not, and it wrecks deliverability for everyone on a shared platform. This policy is the line between the two, and we enforce it.

1. The rules

Every message sent through Terlido must meet all of the following:

  • A lawful basis to contact. You must have a legitimate business reason to email the recipient — and where the law requires consent, you must actually have it.
  • Accurate identification. Your from name, from address, and reply-to must identify you truthfully. No forged headers, no misleading domains, no impersonation.
  • Honest subject lines. The subject must reflect what the email is about. No fake “Re:” or “Fwd:” on a first-touch message.
  • A physical postal address. Required by CAN-SPAM for commercial email.
  • A working opt-out. Every sequence needs a clear way to stop hearing from you, honored promptly and permanently.
  • Relevance. The message should be plausibly useful to the person receiving it. Blasting an unsegmented list is both bad practice and a fast route to a blocklist.

2. What is not allowed

  • Purchased, rented, scraped, or otherwise non-consented consumer email lists.
  • Emailing consumers (B2C) in jurisdictions that require prior opt-in consent.
  • Phishing, malware, cryptocurrency scams, adult content, or anything unlawful.
  • Continuing to email someone after they have opted out, replied asking you to stop, or been added to a suppression list.
  • Using unrelated or misleading tracking domains to disguise the sender.
  • Running high-volume sends from freshly registered domains with no warmup.

3. Suppression and opt-outs

Terlido maintains a suppression list per workspace. Unsubscribes, hard bounces, and explicit stop requests are added automatically, and sequences halt for that contact immediately. Deliberately removing an address from suppression in order to keep emailing them is a breach of this policy and of these terms.

Replies, out-of-office responses, and bounces are detected automatically so that follow-ups stop when a human has engaged.

4. How we enforce this

We monitor bounce rates, spam complaint rates, and blocklist signals across the platform. Where an account puts other senders at risk we will act — usually by throttling sends and contacting you first, but immediately and without notice where the breach is serious.

  • Sending caps reduced or paused while we investigate.
  • Campaigns stopped and mailboxes disconnected.
  • Account suspended or terminated without refund for repeated or deliberate breaches.
We would rather have a smaller platform than a blocklisted one. If your sending is endangering other customers’ deliverability, we will stop it.

5. Reporting abuse

If you received an email sent through Terlido that breaches this policy, report it to hi@terlido.com. Include the full message with headers where you can. We investigate every report, we will suppress your address across the platform on request, and we act against the sender where the complaint is substantiated.
